4th Grade Procedures & Consequences

 

Classroom Procedures

 

  1. Quietly enter the Classroom.
  2. Put your things away at your assigned seat.
  3. Sharpen pencil quickly.
  4. Language Arts: Begin working on Daily Oral Language on the whiteboard.

Math: Start working the problem on the overhead.

Reading: Start working on Starter work posted on the board.

 

Exit Procedures

 

1. Do not leave anything on the floor or in the rack of the desk.

2. Gather all materials needed for homework and put in your backpack.

3. When dismissed by the teacher, have your things and desk in order.

 

 

Consequences for Not Following Rules (School Wide)

 

               1st Time: Name on the board-time off of recess

               2nd Time: Detention Hall

               3rd Time: Call Parents and Detention Hall

               4th Time: Sent to the Office

               Severe Offense- Go straight to the Office.

 

*Name erased each afternoon. Students receiving five detentions in one week will automatically receive on day in Inschool Suspension (ISS).

 

*Unless excused by teacher, students with no homework will receive one day of detention.

 

*After two days of not completing homework assignments, it will result in an automatic zero for that grade.
