Discipline Plan

Classroom Rules

  1. Follow all classroom procedures.
  2. Respect others and their personal belongings.
  3. Be on time for class with all materials needed for class.
  4. Follow directions the first time they are given
  5. Be quiet in the hallways.

 

 

Consequences If You Choose to Break a Rule

First Time:                         First Bubble-Warning

Second Time:                    Second Bubble – Detention Hall

Third Time:                        Third Bubble - Detention Hall and phone call home

Fourth Time:                    Fourth Bubble- Detention Hall, call home, In-School Suspension

* Three days of detention in one week will result in a referral for In-School Suspension & a phone call home.*

Severe Disruption:            Student Sent Immediately to the Office.

 

If students receive a bubble from #27-33, the school wide procedures will be followed.  A phone call home will inform you of the infraction and disciplinary action.

 

Recess is a privilege that student earn by having no bubbles and by completing all work. If study hall is needed, students will remain in the classroom and work on ANY missing assignments or make-up work.

 

Students will not be held to the above consequences for using the bathroom during class, unless they abuse this privilege. This bubble serves as a record for all teachers to track excessive bathroom trips, other than scheduled breaks.

*All class trips are contingent upon good behavior and obtaining Accelerated Reading/Math goals. Therefore, students must have less than 25 bubbles during a nine week period, have no In-School or Out-of-School Suspensions, and meet all AR & AM goals to be eligible to participate in a class trip. *
